Skontorp Cove on the Antarctic Peninsula.
This idyllic spot spot was to be our anchorage on numerous nights and from here we explored glaciers, staked out terminal faces, visited feeding humpback whales, chatted with penguins, entered gaping darl blue crevasses and consistently dropped our jaws at the incredible views.
There was a feeling of sanctuary for us here as we became so familiar with the location and continued to explore it more and more thoroughly.
These mill pond days were welcome after 4 days on the Drake Passage and instantly got the photographic ball rolling.
